About Me

Founder and Psychologist

Katie L Glickman, PsyD

I specialize in working with individuals throughout development who are experiencing a variety of stressors. Throughout my career, I have learned to provide individual treatment for a diverse group of clients and to collaborate with other professionals and families to help provide the best outcome for you.

I received my doctorate in Clinical and School Psychology (Psy.D) from Pace University. During my time in the doctoral program, I provided individual therapy to college-aged students who struggled with various stressors including adjustment to college, social anxiety, and personality disorders. Additionally, I worked for two years at an elementary school where I conducted multiple group and individual counseling sessions focusing on behavioral management and social skills. In addition to counseling, I completed multiple psychoeducational assessments to support the development of IEPs and 504s. I collaborated with teachers and parents to provide the best psychological care for the students. I also worked at a foster care agency and a residential treatment center. While at the foster care agency, I worked with a diverse range of families to help children of varying ages process their traumatic experiences. At the residential treatment center, I conducted individual therapy with children who were diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and emotional dysregulation. My work with these children focused on developing their social skills, providing tools to regulate their emotions, increasing their self-esteem, and processing their traumatic backgrounds.

Since opening my own practice, I have worked with individuals throughout development and specializes in working with parents, children and adolescents, the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and/or postpartum mental health struggles. I believe that everyone deserves to be heard, validated, and understood, and is dedicated to fostering a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust and mutual respect.
